About this Event
Lie down. Close your eyes. Let go.
Yoga Nidra ("yogic sleep") is a guided practice of deep conscious relaxation. Your body rests at the edge of sleep while your awareness stays gently present. It's often described as one of the most restful experiences you can have while awake.
There's nothing to achieve and no "right way" to meditate. You simply lie down, listen to the guidance and let the process unfold.
✨ What you'll experience
🌿 Deep physical relaxation. Release tension layer by layer and let your nervous system settle.
🌬 Breath awareness. Shift attention from outside noise to the quiet rhythm of your breath.
🧘 Pratyahara, turning inward. Step back from the senses into a calmer inner space.
🌌 Guided visualization. Imagery that opens deeper levels of attention.
🕉 Sankalpa. Set a clear, meaningful personal intention.
🌙 The threshold of sleep. Explore the state where the body sleeps and awareness remains.
🌙 Why come?
Messages, screens, work, endless information. Modern life keeps us constantly "on."
For one evening there's nothing to do and nowhere to go. You lie down, you listen, you observe. Slowly, attention that's usually scattered outward returns home.
It isn't an escape from life. It's a chance to find enough inner quiet to meet yourself again.
📿 The approach
This session follows the tradition of Swami Satyananda Saraswati (Bihar School of Yoga), who shaped Yoga Nidra into the structured practice known today.
It also draws on insights from Milton H. Erickson, a pioneer of clinical hypnosis. His work showed that relaxed, absorbed states of attention make the mind naturally open to imagery and subtle suggestion. The two traditions differ, but both work with the mind through deep relaxation.
