Yoga in the Park: Finding Flexibility & Stillness in Hatha
Join me this Saturday at 9 a.m. for an outdoor yoga session centered on flexibility and stillness through traditional Hatha-style asanas. We’ll practice the Sthiram Sukham Asana' philosophy, holding each pose for 1-2 minutes, allowing time to focus on each muscle group and deepen into the stretch.
This session is designed for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced yogis. Appropriate modifications will be provided to ensure everyone can participate comfortably. I'll guide you through preparatory poses to make transition smoother and help you ease into each posture.
What to expect:
- 10-15 minutes of self-centering with Pranayama
- 10 minutes of warm-up to gently prepare the body
- 25 minutes of Hatha-style asanas, focusing on twisting, bending, forward bending, hip opening, and more—covering every major muscle group
- 10-minute cool down in Savasana
By the end of the session, you’ll feel both flexible and grounded. This session is suitable for all levels, with modifications offered to ensure everyone can participate comfortably. 🌿
We’ll set up at 9 a.m., with the session starting promptly at 9:15 a.m. Take this opportunity to slow down, find stillness, and open up the body in a beautiful park setting. 🌞
Bring:
- Your yoga mat and water bottle
- A light jacket if cooler weather
- Sunglasses if it’s sunny!
I can’t wait to practice with you and help you find flexibility and stillness in your body!
