Yo ho ho there mateys! Pirate Life Ottawa invites you to join us for Talk Like a Pirate Day on Saturday September 21st at Mooney’s Bay. We will have fun family friendly pirate themed activities throughout the day and crafty local vendors and food trucks on site.

Learn how to sword fight with pool noodle swords, bring your lunch and picnic with a pirate, create a fantastic puppet show, make pirate flags, get your face painted, compete in our pirate costume contest, and more!

10:15am Toddler Show with Jesse from the NAC’s Toddler Tuesday

11:15am Make your own puppet and puppet show

11:30am Costume contest for kids adults and pets

12pm Picnic with a pirate

2pm Sword Fighting demonstration & Pool Noodle swords

3pm Pirate Olympics

5pm Talk Like a Pirate Day ends
