Ready to bring more strength, stability, and functional movement into your yoga classes?Join Julie (E-RYT 500) for a hands-on weekend training focused on integrating strength training into yoga in a way that still honors the practice. Julie has completed extensive additional training in incorporating weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight strength work into yoga classes and will share practical tools you can start using right away.
In this training we will explore:
• How to safely incorporate light weights in yoga classes
• Using resistance bands to build strength and stability
• The power of bodyweight resistance in yoga sequencing
• Cueing students for proper form and alignment
• Important precautions and modifications
• How to maintain the integrity and flow of a yoga practice
You’ll leave with new sequencing ideas, practical cues, and the confidence to guide students toward stronger, more resilient bodies.
Includes:
• 12 hours Yoga Alliance Continuing Education
• Two bonus classes from Hippie Yoga’s regular schedule (attend or observe)
• Can count as 12 hours toward Hippie Yoga’s 300-hour teacher training
