Yoga Brunch at Firs Farm Community Hub

Join us for our very first yoga brunch at Firs Farm Community Hub and Cafe!

Our morning will begin with hour of yoga, suitable for all levels, with Katie in the dedicated yoga space in the hub. We'll then move into the cafe for a delicious brunch, and you'll have a chance to catch up with your fellow yogis over hot drinks, croissants and more.

About the yoga

The style of yoga will be a slow flow, with options offered for all levels of experience. Over the course of the class, you'll experience pranayama (breathwork), a gentle warm up followed by flowing yoga movements, and an opportunity to rest deeply. Please bring your own yoga mat.

About your teacher

Katie Forsythe has been practising yoga for over a decade and teaching since 2020. Her classes are fun, creative and welcoming, and include breathwork, movement and meditation suitable for all. You can find out more at https://katie-yoga.my.canva.site/ and via Instagram (@katiefyoga).

Accessibility

This class is suitable for all levels of practitioner, and options will be provided throughout so that you can adapt the yoga postures to make them accessible to you, or make them more physically challenging. However, if you have any injuries or health conditions (for example, high/low blood pressure, pregnancy) please do let Katie know in advance. If you have any questions before booking, please do get in touch!

About our venue

The Firs Farm Community Hub and Cafe opened in February 2024 and is located next to the beautiful wetlands (perfect for a pre- or post-class walk). The yoga space is for our group's private use and separate from the cafe area and is a beautiful, calm space to chill out on your mat. Mats and props are not provided by the venue so do bring along a mat and anything else that you think you might need on the day. We'll be gathering for brunch in the gorgeous Leon's Cafe (@leons_atfirsfarm), which is managed by the amazing team at Chi Chis Brunch and Nights - the cafe space is gorgeous, filled with plants and lots of natural light to create a cozy atmosphere - I can't wait for you all to visit and enjoy this wonderful venue.

The brunch

We have three menu options available - please confirm which of these you would like upon booking:

Option 1 - Holtwhite’s Croissant, Mortadella Ham & Cheese bun served with a Honey & Mustardaise, Any small hot drink

Option 2 - Holtwhite’s Croissant, Caprese bun – Mozzarella, tomato, rocket, with a rocket mayo, Any small hot drink (we also have an option to make this choice vegan)

Option 3 - Holtwhite’s Croissant, Buttermilk Chicken and chesse bun with a sriracha mayo, Any small hot drink

Additional drinks and snacks are available to purchase on the day.
