About this Event
What happens when we stop trying to find the “right” way to move, create or express ourselves?
In this workshop, we invite you to slow down, turn your attention inward and explore yourself through movement, breath and expression through arts.
We will begin with a gentle, grounding yoga practice. You’ll be guided through movements, using the breath to connect with your body and simply notice the sensations. We’ll explore how different movements feel in the body, where we hold tension, what changes when we slow down, and how the breath can support us. No previous yoga experience is needed; practice is accessible and adaptable to your body.
After moving through the body, we pause and notice what has emerged: sensations, images, emotions, memories, or impulses. As part of the expressive arts session, we will let these experiences find their way into creative expression through different art modalities such as painting and writing.
Rather than focusing on artistic skill or interpretation, we follow the process and explore what wants to emerge when we give our inner experience a different language.
No art or yoga experience is needed.
