About this Event
“Yin yoga” targets the connective tissues of the body, and is a required practice for increasing health and vitality in the body. Through yin stretches, more space opens up for all the channels of our systems (the circulatory system, the nervous system, and the respiratory systems, etc.) to flow more freely and fully. This opening also increases range of motion which is necessary to access the more advanced asanas of “yang," or muscular-engaging yoga.
In this 90- Minute workshop, you will be guided through a series of yin poses, learning the fundamentals of the practice, and experience the many benefits of these long-held floor stretches.
Linda trained with yin founders Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers, as well as Bernie Clark. She has practiced and taught yin for decades, and is excited to pass on to you this enjoyable and transformative practice.
