The YFB Summer Championship 2027 is coming back to Harrisonburg, Virginia for the ninth season and one final run in the Valley. Last year teams traveled from Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and New Jersey to compete, and we are looking to bring another strong regional field together in 2027. For many teams, this is the tournament that closes out their summer schedule, and for YFB, it marks our final Harrisonburg event and our final one-day tournament of the 2027 season. Games will be played at Eastern Mennonite University and Horizons Edge for one last packed day of YFB basketball.Teams can expect the full YFB experience with great competition, a 3+ game guarantee, certified officials, scorebook and clock provided, championship medals, individual MVP recognition, media coverage and player exposure, along with opportunities to qualify for YBOA and SFP Nationals.
The Summer Championship traditionally sells out about a month in advance and space will once again be limited. Teams from four states showed up last year, and we are looking to make the 2027 field even stronger. This is the last chance to play YFB in Harrisonburg this season and the last chance to jump into one of our one-day events. Do not wait until your division is full. Get your team registered, lock in your spot and come finish the summer competing against teams from across the region.
One day. One last run in Harrisonburg. One more chance to leave with a championship.
We Don’t Just Host Basketball Tournaments. We Create Experiences.
