Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter and composer Yasmin Levy brings her rare U.S. tour to the Dallas area on Thursday, Oct. 8, at Carpenter Hall at the Irving Arts Center. The performance is one of only four U.S. tour dates and marks Levy’s return to American stages for the first time in years.
Widely regarded as one of the leading contemporary voices of Ladino music, Levy brings the centuries-old Judeo-Spanish musical tradition into the present, blending it with flamenco, Turkish, Greek and Middle Eastern influences. Born in Jerusalem into a Sephardic family with roots in Türkiye, Levy has performed to audiences across Europe, North America and Australia.
