Join Keep It Kirei for a fun Yarra River clean-up in Melbourne followed by coffee and good vibes!
We're hitting the Yarra River for a clean-up and finishing with a chill coffee meet-up. It's a perfect chance to meet cool people, help the environment, and enjoy some great coffee afterwards. Whether you're new or a regular, everyone’s welcome to pitch in and hang out. Let's make the river sparkle and share some laughs!
"Keep it Kirei" is a Japanese-led community initiative based in Melbourne. Our events bring together Japanese participants, local Australians, international students, working holiday makers, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
This is more than just a clean-up. It’s an opportunity to:
- Meet people from all walks of life
- Enjoy a refreshing morning walk by the water
- Give back to the local community
- Make new friends in Melbourne
- Relax and connect over coffee afterwards
No previous volunteering experience is required, and everyone is warmly welcome!

- Time: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- Location: Fed Square
- Activity: Community clean-up walk (Please check the photos for the clean-up route map)
- Afterwards: We will head to Brunetti Oro Flinders Lane
What to Bring
Please bring the following if you have them:
- A rubbish bag
- An item of blue clothing or something blue to wear
- Comfortable walking shoes
You are more than welcome to join even if you don't have a rubbish bag or anything blue!
