Join Dash of Creativity at The Purple Couch Bookshop for a colorful, hands-on children’s craft workshop designed for kids and families.
Participants will choose from a variety of creative projects using yarn, beads, and decorative materials. Everyone is encouraged to select the colors and materials that interest them, experiment with different ideas, and create something that reflects their personality.
Project examples and step-by-step guidance will be available throughout the workshop. Participants are also welcome to follow their creativity, combine ideas, and make each project their own.
No previous crafting experience is needed. This beginner-friendly family craft workshop is recommended for ages 6 and older. Anyone under 18 must attend with an adult. Adults may purchase a ticket and create alongside their child or attend as a nonparticipating supervisor at no additional cost.

Each person creating a project will need a ticket. Family ticket options provide a modest discount while keeping registration simple.

Dash of Creativity brings approachable, hands-on art and craft workshops to bookstores, libraries, recreation programs, restaurants, and community spaces throughout New England.
Each class offers clear, beginner-friendly instruction while giving participants the freedom to explore their own ideas. These creative workshops are designed to make crafting accessible, enjoyable, and welcoming for all experience levels.

Minimum Enrollment and Refund Policy
A minimum of five paid participants is required for the workshop to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, the workshop may be canceled or rescheduled. If Dash of Creativity cancels the workshop, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
Participant Cancellations
Refunds are available for cancellations made at least seven days before the workshop. Because materials are purchased and prepared in advance, tickets are nonrefundable within seven days of the event and are not transferable.
