[Yanchan Produced](https://www.instagram.com/yanchanproduced/) is a Canadian-Tamil producer, mixing engineer, singer and South Indian hand drummer (Mridangam) from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. As a producer and artist his unique sounds that express his Scarborough upbringing with Tamil foundations has been evident in his consistent release of solo and collaborative projects that have garnered over 12 million streams on Spotify.
In 2024, Yanchan released a song called “Chai and Sunshine” which became a viral trending hit on Instagram and Tiktok garnering over 800,000 videos and was shared by celebrities such as Selena Gomez and Jessica Alba.
Yanchan has produced for artists such as Hanumankind, Lil Durk, Russ, Jonita Gandhi and Santosh Narayan. Yanchan has also toured across the US and India including opening up for 50 Cent in Mumbai, India. Most recently Yanchan was nominated for the South Asian Record of The Year at the Juno Awards in 2025.
