Meaning Sun Gathering in the Wulgurukaba language, this powerful sunrise gathering is presented by Wulgurukaba Walkabouts and features acclaimed Numburindi songmen Ngulmiya Nundhirribala and Nayurryurr Nundhirribala from Arnhem Land.
Carrying songs that have travelled through countless generations, Ngulmiya and Nayurryurr share ancient knowledge, memory and belonging, creating a rare meeting of northern cultures and connecting saltwater peoples across waterways, lands, languages and time.
