About this Event

Y2K Creative Cafe invites teens to press pause on the noise and step into a space built just for them. This event honors the cultural collision of technology and analog life, and calls teens to hold onto bold optimism as they navigate their world today.

Teens today face real challenges around connection and belonging. The U.S. Surgeon General declared loneliness a public health epidemic in 2023, with teens among the most affected. The CDC reports 44% of teens experience persistent sadness, up from 37% in 2019, while 61% wish for more creative self-expression (National Endowment for the Arts). Y2K Creative Cafe offers exactly that: a third place where teens build belonging and connection.

Through guided meditation, art journaling, and a structured values reflection workshop, teens explore their own capacity for curiosity, resilience, and creative thinking.

Teens who attend gain:
• A calm, judgment-free space to slow down and reflect
• Creative tools like art journaling to express thoughts and feelings
• Guided meditation practices to build resilience and focus
• A structured values workshop that sparks self-discovery
• Real connection with peers who understand their world
• A sense of belonging in a true "third place" built just for them

This community-centered creative wellness workshop welcomes teens ages 13-19 only.

Refreshments come from , a local favorite bringing bold, nourishing flavor to the afternoon.

This event is completely free, and the first 20 teens to attend receive a specially curated gift bag. Registration is required to secure a spot, so sign up today and bring a friend along for the experience.
