About this Event
You are invited to participate in a focus group, hosted by Xceptional Heroes, to continue the exploration of the development of a residential community in Genesee County for adults living with intellectual disabilities (ID).
Xceptional Heroes (XH) is a nonprofit that facilitates social, recreational and skill building opportunities for adults living with an ID, throughout Genesee County.
Thank you to those of you who have already taken the time to complete our survey. While the survey provided valuable initial insight, the focus group will allow us to take the conversation a step further to better understand individual priorities and hear perspectives that may not have been captured through the survey alone.
Our goal is to have an open and meaningful conversation about what an ideal residential community might look like, including living arrangements, amenities, programming and support services.
Your insight and perspective are incredibly valuable as we begin shaping this vision. We hope that you will join us in this collaborative discussion and help ensure that the voices of the community are at the center of this endeavor.
