Kick off your Thanksgiving weekend in style! On October 11, the night before theWALK.ca, check out the Calgary Tower as it lights up white, blue, and yellow—a dazzling tribute to community and the Calgary Food Bank.
Then, on Thanksgiving Monday, gather your friends, family, and neighbors for theWALK.ca, a vibrant 5km community walk along Calgary’s beautiful South Bow River pathway. This is not a race—it’s a fun, energizing walk for all ages and fitness levels. Together, we’ll raise awareness and funds to fight food insecurity in our city.

- 9:30 – 10:00 AM – Event Opens
- Welcome Tent check-in
- Pick up free event T-shirt
- Drop off non-perishable food donations – Fill the Ford (Northstar Ford)
- Enjoy coffee, snacks & community atmosphere
- 10:00 – 10:15 AM – Opening Ceremony

- National anthem by the Calgary Men’s Chorus
