Event Details:Do you identify as a Woman, Trans, or Fem and want to learn how to repair your bike? WTF (Women, Trans, Fem) Repair Night is a casual meet and greet for anyone who's ever felt out of place at a bike shop or been afraid they might get mansplained at a repair event. Far too often, these spaces can be dominated by men and can exclude those who may identify differently. We want to change that and we want you to be part of that change.
This event will be lead by those who identify as Women, Trans or Fem. If you are interested in facilitating this more night like this please talk to AJ (they/them) or Katrin (she/ her) that night!
What to Expect:
We'll start with an intro to the ABCs of your bike, get hands on with a flat tire fix and open the floor to connect and explore. Bring your bike if you have one or just bring yourself.
What to Know:
While other parts of programming and operations are supported by male Pata de Perro Community Bike Club Bike Mechanics we want to ensure that this event and others like it (WTF Repair Nights) are only for non-gendered men (cis men).
