About this Event
Feeling inspired by the Book Festival? Let’s get together and write! Join us to find your story and deepen your writing. Engaging prompts will motivate, tips on craft techniques will strengthen your skills, and quotes from published authors will spark your inner writer. We’ll end the session with an open mic for those who are interested in sharing. You’ll leave excited to keep your writing journey going. Writers of all levels and genres are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Judy McClure’s writing focuses on relationships, identity, nature, and education. You can find her work at Miniskirt Magazine, WBUR’s Edify, Assignment Literary Magazine, and more. She is the winner of the 2021 Friends of the Chautauqua Writers’ Center prose contest and is a graduate of Grub Street’s Essay Incubator. She co-founded Rozzie Bound Co-op Bookstore and lives in Roslindale with her wife. When she isn’t writing, teaching, or reading, you can usually find her walking with her dog Rosy.
