As part of the Women Behind the Lens strand at the inaugural Croydon International Film Festival (CIFF), we are delighted to welcome acclaimed film and television writer Marissa Lestrade for an inspiring scriptwriting workshop.
Marissa is known for her work on acclaimed television productions including The Girl Before (2021), The Swarm (2023) and Those About to Die (2024). Bringing her professional experience of writing for the screen, she will offer participants valuable insights into the creative process, the craft of storytelling and the realities of working in the film and television industry.
Whether you're taking your first steps into screenwriting or looking to develop your existing skills, this workshop is designed to encourage creativity, build confidence and inspire you to bring your stories to life.
