About this Event
Are you a local fiction writer looking to connect with fellow writers?
Join us at Kirrawee Library+, together with local author and librarian, Maureen Flynn, at this two-hour session. Get to know other writers, write together and share ideas you would like to workshop about your current work. Take the opportunity to ask questions and raise issues to help you over any hurdles.
Please be aware this is not a guided writing critique workshop and attendees should bring their own writing project to work on. Here is an example session:
1:30-1:40PM: Introductions and talk through current writing project
1:40-2pm: Timed 20-minute writing session on own project
2:-2:10PM: Discussion of how everyone went and any issues or questions people want to discuss about their project
2:10-2:30PM: Timed 20-minute writing session on own project
2:30-2:40PM: Discussion of how everyone went and any issues or questions people want to discuss about their project
2:40-3:00PM: Timed 20-minute writing session on own project
3:00-3:30PM: More in depth discussion about projects and questions or if people want to keep writing for a final 20mins, that’s fine
