About this Event
This is a series of classes that build on each other. Your ticket covers the entire series, so it's not possible to book individual sessions.
Dates:
Thursday, 12 November, 2:00–5:00 pm
Friday, 13 November, 2:00–5:00 pm
Thursday, 26 November, 2:00–5:00 pm

(Please check all dates before registering and only sign up if you can attend every session. Each class builds on the previous one.)
Writing shows whether you can deliver your ideas to others. This course teaches you to observe precisely, cut what doesn't matter, and back your claims with evidence. You need these skills to brief a team, a client or an AI model.
In four sessions, you write different texts and practice your skill to write short & clear, structure your texts and support your judgements. Exercises include:
- You describe a real situation using only facts, without judging it.
- You check your peers' drafts against a list of common errors, such as passive voice, filler words and unsupported claims. Then you rewrite your own draft.
- You write a short personal story about a turning point in your life and read it aloud.
- You write a two-page proposal for a real idea. You research the facts and support every key claim with a source.
You leave with a personal text for applications or pitches, a proposal you can submit, and a method for giving specific, useful feedback.
