Something is new under the sun! Please join your WRISE SF community for a field trip to the Petaluma Floating Solar installation at Ellis Creek Water Recycling Facility on October 24!
The event will kick off at 1:30 pm with a tour of the Floating Solar Facility lead by Andrew Sundling – Vice President of Business Development at White Pine Renewables.
The facility is a 6438 kWdc facility in operation since 2025. Enjoy an autumn afternoon outdoors in Petaluma and learn about floating solar’s unique operational advantages, as well as environmental and water conservation benefits.
Wrap up the day with an optional no host happy hour at Lagunitas Brewery from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
