The first Wreath Bowls of the season, and more to come! Work with an experienced potter on the pottery wheel to create a large bowl with step by step instructions. You will learn how to center 3 pounds of clay, and the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel to create a shape you would like. No experience needed! Then press pine branches into the clay in the shape of a wreath! We will supply the branches but you are welcome to bring your own as well. After the workshop, your piece will take time to air dry, and then be fired in our kiln.Admission includes a return visit after 2 weeks to paint your pottery in your own style with colorful pottery glazes. Just fill the branch impressions with glaze and add details. Then it goes into the kiln again for a final firing. Your piece will be food safe and even oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Ready 2 weeks after painting. Ages 10 and up. Makes a beautiful gift!
