Funny. Filthy. Heartbreaking. A Montreal boy escapes his chaotic, deeply eccentric family by imagining he was conceived by a tomato and is therefore Italian. With an overactive imagination and a desperate crush on the girl next door, Léolo tries to survive by daydreaming and writing. When he isn’t visiting family in the asylum, or beating off, or trying to K*ll or be killed by his grandfather.
