Turn an ordinary gift card into something worth giving.In this quick one-hour workshop, you’ll weave a tiny handled basket sized perfectly for a gift card, small treats, or a little holiday surprise. Along the way, you’ll learn the basics of working with reed and create a finished piece that feels far more personal than a paper envelope.
Once your holder is woven, make it your own with a selection of seasonal embellishments available in class, including evergreens, bells, dried flowers, and other decorative touches. Keep it simple and rustic or dress it up for the holidays.
Please bring: a small towel, 12 clothespins, small needle-nose pliers, and a very small flat-edge screwdriver. Nov 28, 2 – 3pm.
