Worthwhile Poetry: A Friday Poetry Walk at Juhu

I’m a poet, and I wanted to create a safe space for us in Mumbai to just exist. No stages, no bright lights, no professional pressure. I am trying to build a community centered around genuine, raw human interaction. We spend so much time behind screens; this is our chance to just connect face-to-face and share different perspectives.

We are meeting up at Juhu Beach. We will take a long walk together along the shore, talk about life, share our poetry if we feel like it, or maybe just sit by the sand and feel the evening breeze in complete, comfortable silence.

Here, your art becomes your identity before your name does. Come directly after work or college, bring your open journals, your scribbled notes, or just your listening ears.

Because here at Worthwhile Poetry: You are heard, as every pause is worth a while.

• A peaceful alternative to the chaotic Mumbai weekend rush.

• Come as You Are: Directly after work or college, formals or sweats, everyone is welcome.

• Art is Your Identity: No professional titles or introductions required. Just human beings sharing words.

• The Seaside Walk: A slow, mindful stroll along Juhu Beach to let the thoughts flow.

• Intimate & Free: Completely free to attend, capped at a small number so everyone can genuinely connect.

Since we are gathering as an independent community in a public space, your comfort and peace of mind are the absolute priority.

• Zero Judgment, Total Respect: This is a strictly safe space. Any form of disrespect, harassment, or unwanted advances will result in being asked to leave immediately.
• Your Privacy is Respected: Because this is about raw, real-world connection, I want everyone to feel entirely present without worrying about a camera in their face. Each of you will be asked personally before I take any pictures, record anything, or post any content. If you want total digital anonymity, you will absolutely have it.
• Spotting Us: Once you register, I’ll text you our exact meeting landmark at Juhu so you don’t feel lost trying to find a crowd.
• Stay in the Loop: We will stay together as a group during the entire walk and sit-in. If you ever feel uncomfortable or need to leave early, just let me or a fellow circle member know.
