About this Event
Austin Deadman plays on all Chapel Music Fellowship recordings and currently tours with Hamilton as a keyboardist, bringing a wealth of experience from both worship ministry and the professional music world.
In this master class, Austin will cover the fundamentals of playing keys for worship, along with advanced techniques to help experienced players take their playing to the next level. You’ll learn how to serve the song, create musical space, and make intentional choices that support the worship moment.
We’ll also dive into building great worship sounds, including how to get the most out of your Nord keyboard, create effective piano patches, and build layered sounds and textures that elevate your team’s overall sound.
Beyond playing and programming, Austin will share practical ways to prepare for a worship set, approach each song with purpose, and make thoughtful musical decisions that serve both your team and congregation.
Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience behind the keys, this class will equip you with practical tools and greater confidence to serve faithfully and skillfully in worship.
