About this Event
Free. All ages. Everyone welcome.
Step-off is 2 PM on McKinley Street, and because the route is only 20 feet long, floats are sized to match: shoebox-sized, roughly. Join our float-making session starting at 11 AM at Roundhouse Depot Brewing. No experience required. We'll supply the paper and glue. You bring the imagination.
Bringing a marching band, dance troupe, or other large group? We'd love to have you. Contact us directly so we can plan for the space.
Bellefontaine has Ohio's highest point, the oldest concrete street in America, and, as it turns out, the shortest street in America. We looked at that shortest street and reached the only reasonable conclusion: ticker tape parade. Every ticker tape parade celebrates something, so this year, we're marching for Johnny Appleseed. His birthday happens to land in September, and Logan County is part of his story too. So why not?
