WORLD STROKE DAY — OCTOBER 29 Every Second Counts. Every Survivor Matters.
On World Stroke Day, Stroke Survival joins the global effort to raise awareness about stroke prevention, recognizing the warning signs, and supporting stroke survivors and their families.
KNOW THE WARNING SIGNS OF A STROKE!
Remember B.E. F.A.S.T.
B – BALANCE: Sudden loss of balance or coordination.
E – EYES: Sudden vision changes.
F – FACE: Does one side of the face droop?
A – ARMS: Is one arm weak or numb?
S – SPEECH: Is speech slurred or difficult to understand?
T – TIME: Call 911 immediately if you notice ANY of these signs. Don't wait!
 Why does this matter?
A stroke can change a life in an instant, affecting not only the survivor but also their loved ones. With timely medical treatment, rehabilitation, education, and support, survivors can continue working toward recovery and rebuilding their lives.
On this World Stroke Day, let's:
 Learn the warning signs.
Understand the importance of acting quickly.
Support stroke survivors and their caregivers.
Help spread awareness in our communities.
Together, we can make a difference—one person, one family, and one life at a time.
From all of us at Stroke Survival, thank you for helping us spread awareness and hope.
