Happy Fall Migration to everyone! Join us on Saturday, October 10th, World Migratory Bird Day, as we spend the day birding from our back deck overlooking our wetlands, gardens, and the beautiful Laguna Madre during peak fall migration through our area!
We are going to try to record as many species as possible as a fundraiser for our habitat funds! Supporters may pledge to donate a monetary amount per bird species that we record on the day, or you can come birding with us (admission fees apply)! All funds will go towards maintaining our native habitat gardens and our wetland restoration project.
Our habitats serve as critically important migratory stopovers for migratory birds. Here they can find the food, water, and shelter they need to fuel up for the rest of their migration!
