From the Not In Our Town Filmmaking Team: It was the overwhelming love in the face of cruelty and violence that convinced Not In Our Town to document responses to the Minnesota ICE Surge in early 2026. Today, the threat remains, yet the effectiveness of the strategies emerging from the Twin Cities are clear. For us, it is vital that Americans across the country learn the stories of ordinary people who banded together as their neighbors, their town, and their country faced a dire threat.
