About this Event
This FREE workshop series is by and for Black youth in Peel Region! Connecting the Black community in Peel by promoting mental health and well-being through education and health promoting activities.
Over three sessions Black youth 13-25 are invited to explore:
- Relationships + connection-building (September 25, 6-8pm)
- Stress management + physical activity (October 2, 6-8pm)
- Black identity (October 9, 6-8pm)
Youth can expect hands-on activities (art, music, yoga) and discussion. These sessions are all about connection - getting to know yourself and others in your community! Attendees are encouraged to register for all sessions.
Drop-ins are also welcome, even if you have not registered!
This programme is funded by the AMANI Seed Grant Initiative, part of AMANI Mental Health and Substance Use Services for Black youth (amaniservices.ca).
