About this Event
Using carefully curated papers featuring cosmic, botanical, and cartographic prints, you'll learn traditional box-making techniques and leave with a finished lidded box of your own!
What to Expect
A 2.5-hour hands-on session in which we cut, glue, fold, and finish one lidded box from start to finish. No experience is needed, just curiosity and a steady hand.
- A short introduction to the vintage paper collection and how to combine different prints
- Box-folding and invisible-seam techniques for an IKEA mini chest
- Lid fitting and vintage-label finishing
- All materials provided, including the chest, paper, scissors, glue, tools, and workspace
Prints to Choose From
Each workshop features a curated selection of vintage papers. Choose your favourite design at the table and make the box your own.
Your Host
Led by a long-time paper collector and box maker who has been sourcing vintage prints from Italian paper mills and flea markets for more than a decade. The workshop is taught as a small ritual: slow, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying.
Whether you're an experienced crafter or a complete beginner, this workshop offers a relaxing and inspiring opportunity to slow down, work with your hands, and create something truly special!
