About this Event
Orientation around an object
with Leslie Ting
Wednesday, November 18, 6:00pm-9:00pm
SKAM Studio 846 (846 Broughton St)
$30
About the workshop:
Where do practice and identity meet? This workshop will include a sharing of an emergent work around the violin as a deconstructed movement practice, an invitation to participants to work with an object in their lives, and an introduction to the Anchoring Accessibility artist-led research project.
About the facilitator:
Artistic research and process with collaborators and audiences are my ways of engaging with impossible questions:
- Are we building ourselves or discovering ourselves?
- What is the rhythm of a flower?
- What does being heard feel like?
Anchoring Accessibility was a formal active research process (2023-2026) that resulted from a personal creative accessibility practice and is now an open source resource.
