About this Event
Join us to make a brooch inspired by Latin America's tradition of resistance through textile art! A brief discussion of textile art, in particular the Chilean arpillera, and its use in creative research methodologies will be followed by a hands-on workshop to put the theory into practice. All materials provided and no previous sewing experience needed. A collaboration between Hilos Fronterizos (@hilos_fronterizos) and Memorarte (@memorarte), facilitated by Megan Ryburn, Universidad de Chile, and hosted by CRoLAC, Queen Mary University of London
