Let your imagination run wild as you create a one-of-a-kind gnome using upcycled materials such as sweaters, ornaments, coasters, and more!
This workshop is perfect for ages 10-99. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. You will get step-by-step guidance, so no experience is needed!
All tools and materials will be provided. Your gnome will be about 10-15” tall and will include:
- Body and hat made out of colorful upcycled sweaters or blankets
- Large nose made out of upcycled ornaments
- Sturdy base made from upcycled lids and coasters
- Beard or braids made out of thick yarn
- Large pom-pom for the hat (you will make these!)
- Embellishments such as ribbon, ric-rac and more!

- Clean plastic bottle tops of all colors (soda bottles, milk containers etc.)
- Small toy pieces (dominoes, checkers, game pieces etc.)
- Holiday decor (fake Christmas trees, wreaths, ornaments, etc.)
