About this Event
Learn the secrets of creating great comic characters with one of The Phoenix's expert comic artists!
Join award-winning comic artist and writer Robert Deas, creator of Fawn and Legends of Olympus in The Phoenix, for a hands-on comic-making workshop packed with professional drawing tips.
Rob has spent years helping young artists develop their skills through The Phoenix Comic Club and its drawing tutorials, covering everything from characters and expressions to animals, environments and action. In this workshop he'll share some of those techniques on the big screen and show young artists how to develop their own ideas and characters.
Rob's delivers workshops across the UK, including Phoenix Fest, where his 2026 Heroes, Myths and Magic masterclass sold out.
Come ready to draw, experiment and pick up some tricks from a comic-making pro! If you're a Phoenix fan, you won't want to miss this workshop!
