About this Event
During Changez, Rotterzwam returns to the place where it all started thirteen years ago: the former Tropicana swimming pool. As one of the first circular entrepreneurs in the building, they demonstrated how mushrooms can be grown on organic residual materials such as coffee grounds, brewery grains and wood waste.
Rotterzwam believes that sharing knowledge through an open network is the way to build a better, circular future - and they are happy to share their knowledge with you! During this workshop, this circular entrepreneur will show you which raw materials are suitable for creating your own growing substrate and how to grow the tastiest mushrooms using your own coffee grounds at home.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your own mushroom grow bag, so you can harvest your very own mushrooms soon.

Workshop details:
- Duration: 1 hour, from 15:00 - 16:00
- The workshop takes place in the BlueCity Lab, in the basement of the former wave pool. The meeting point is at 14:50 by the entrance of BlueCity, Maasboulevard 100.
- Suitable for complete beginners.
- Rotterzwam will bring some delicious products that you can purchase after the workshop.
- Your workshop ticket also gives you access to the rest of the programme; no additional entrance ticket is required.
