About This Workshop: "From Page to Stage" is a workshop opportunity for writers who want to strengthen their ability to perform their work in front of an audience. Each session will incorporate how writers can use performance tools to heighten audience engagement and highlight the power of their words through vocal technique while improving their overall stage presence and general comfort on stage. It’s ideal for writers wishing to prepare for Poetry Slams, Neon Lit, Thesis Defenses, Open Mic Nights, Audiobook Recordings, Podcasts, or General Academic Presentations. From experienced performers to those with severe stage fright; all levels of comfort are welcome.

About the Phenomenal Womxn Festival: The Phenomenal Womxn Poetry Festival is a bold, empowering 3-day celebration of womxn and femme voices taking up space in Las Vegas. Featuring workshops, powerful panels, curated open mics, and the first-ever all-womxn regional poetry slam to hit the city. Poets across genres — page, stage, experimental, and everything in between — will gather in the heart of the Arts District, activating beloved local spaces like Third Street, Taverna Costera, Suite 150, Analog Dope, and That Chapel. We’ll close the weekend with a special headlining performance from powerhouse poet Yesika Salgado, followed by an unforgettable final-stage slam where one poet will claim $3,000 and the title of 2026 Phenomenal Womxn Champion.
