Welcome Hackney invites you to a free workshop at Dalston CLR James Library. The workshop is for refugees, asylum seekers, and new residents who want to know more about self-employment in the UK.
This workshop is delivered by Welcome Hackney, in partnership with TERN – The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network, a non-profit based in Hoxton that has supported refugee entrepreneurs since 2016.
The business training will cover important information and activities to help develop your business or to help you explore your business idea:
- Types of business opportunities in Hackney and nearby areas
- How to do business safely in a legal, compliant and practically safe way
- Access to finance options for small businesses
- What next steps to take after the workshop
