Workshop: Drawing Stories with Benaiah Matheson

Join artist Benaiah Matheson for an intuitive drawing and storytelling workshop using tracing paper, light and automatic drawing to explore memory, place and imagined narratives.

Participants will layer drawings on coloured and tracing paper using illuminated light pads, alongside personal writing that can be shared or kept private.

Benaiah Matheson is a British-Khaya multidisciplinary artist based in Huddersfield. His practice, Town Island, moves across drawing, painting, light, cloth, sculpture, oral history and movement.
