OPEN CALL - WORKSHOP & CREATIION RESIDENCY in Berlin Hello Dear Butoh Family, Movers, Shakers, Dancers, Musicians, Sound & Visual Artists, Supporters and the Curious, 😊😊
I trust this message finds you all well and in good spirits.
It is with great joy to announce the upcoming WORKSHOP & CREATION RESIDENCY in Berlin.
The residency will be held at LAKE Studios Berlin, situated in Friedrichshagen, from the 20th till 25th July.
Monday 20th and Saturday 25th will be particularly focused on the Afro-Butoh Workshop, for a duration of 3 hours, each day.
From Tuesday 21st till Friday 24th, the residency will focus on part workshop, research and creation, for a duration of 4-5 hours.
*The day will be split into afternoon session) and evening sessions, with a break.
**To start the day, an option to join an 'Initiation Ritual' on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 12h - 14h, outdoors by the lake.
***Wednesday and Thursday will be dedicated to working with a videographer in the evenings.
The evening of the 24th will be a work-in-progress showing during the Unfinished Fridays Series.
ABOUT :
This will be a research and creation residency for an interactive multidisciplinary collaboration project entitled, "De-Cons-Truct".
DESCRIPTION :
The project, De-Cons-Truct is a transitory mirage of deconstructing the body in front of a camera, embodying a sea of light and sound spectrum, merging the digital and the bodily / physical dimension (movement and dance).

Full Participation Fee:
• 180€ payable till the 31st May (by bank transfer)
• 225€ from the 1st June (by bank transfer)
Once registered, you will be provided with banking details.
Drop In Fee: 55€ per day
** PLACES ARE LIMITED TO 15 PEOPLE **
* Not everyone is financially able. Kindly reach out to me, to make payment arrangements.
Cancellations:
- one month before start date = 100 % reimbursement
- two weeks before start date = 50% reimbursement
- one week before start date 25% reimbursement
**Cancellations of less than one week will NOT be reimbursed
