Temporary power, done to code.Procom Middle East is hosting a two-day Working With Electricity In Events course at its Dubai Training Center on 26–27 October, built around BS7909:2023 — the Code of Practice for the creation and operation of temporary electrical systems for entertainment and related purposes.
BS7909 governs everything from small concerts to large festivals, covering the full lifecycle of a temporary power system: design, installation, testing, and verification. This course is intended for anyone involved in that lifecycle — designers, installers, testers, and verifiers — who need their work to comply. Familiarity with BS7671 (the Wiring Regulations) is recommended going in.
On successful completion, participants receive a certificate in the Requirements for Temporary Electrical Installations (BS7909:2023).
