Join us for Working with Diverse Communities!
RAMA (Refugee, Asylum seeker & Migrant Action) will deliver an informative two-hour workshop on interacting with diverse communities. In addition to providing advice about how best to connect and work alongside these communities, there will be insights and myth busting and even an online quiz to reinforce learning!
This will be a fun and engaging workshop with lots of chances to chat, ask questions, and increase understanding.
In the current climate, when there is so much misinformation and negativity around migrants in this country, this is a great opportunity to hear the facts from an organisation on the frontline. RAMA works across Essex with clients from 157 Countries and staff have 86% lived experience of migration and speak 31 languages between them.
Please note: This training is exclusively for staff and volunteers from community groups, CICs, and charities. To ensure as many organisations as possible can benefit, attendance is limited to two people per organisation.
