With insights from Acas Collective Conciliator Malcolm Phillips and Lucy O'Melia, Head of Learning and Development Services, IPA (Involvement and Participation Association), we'll examine trade union recognition, effective partnership working, collective conciliation, myth-busting and the importance of employee voice in creating thriving workplaces.

In the session, we will:

• Gain practical insight into employee voice, consultation and partnership working.

• Understand how trade unions become recognised and what recognition means for employers.

• Learn about the role of Acas and how collective conciliation helps resolve workplace disputes.

• Challenge common myths and misconceptions about trade unions.

• Discover why workplace relationships break down and how trust can be rebuilt.

• Explore approaches to creating collaborative employer-union relationships that benefit all parties.

• Hear practical examples of positive employment relations and partnership working in action.
