On International Men’s Day, Join Jon Bodenham, Worcester Community Garden Trustee, as he talks about the wide range of innovative construction projects that their team of volunteers has worked on from floating bee hives and retractable canopies to compost bins and solar powered hot water taps. There will be the opportunity to discuss volunteering roles after the talk.
After the talk, guests are invited to visit the Worcester Community Garden to see the new wildlife area. Anyone wishing to attend, will need to make their own way there - it's a 15-20 minute walk from The Hive, alongside Pitchcroft. Please be aware that the site is not easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues.
The garden is open until 2:00pm and people are invited to drop in at any point before we close.
