🍂🌲 WOODLAND WONDERS: RHYTHM OF THE WILD 🌲🍂An Outdoor Fall Equinox Ecstatic Dance

As summer gently gives way to autumn, we invite you to celebrate the Fall Equinox with an evening of movement, nature, community, and play.
Woodland Wonders: Rhythm of the Wild is an invitation to slow down, ground into the changing season, and celebrate the balance between light and dark through music, movement, connection, and joyful expression.
There is something incredibly magical about dancing outdoors. Feeling the earth beneath your feet, the breeze through the trees, and remembering that we are part of nature - not separate from it.
Whether you come alone, with friends, your partner, or your family, you'll be welcomed into a warm, inclusive community.
If you've never experienced ecstatic dance before, this is a beautiful opportunity to discover the magic. 🪄
Ecstatic dance is a free-form somatic and embodiment experience.
No choreography. No performance. No right or wrong way to move.
You truly cannot dance wrong.
It's about allowing the music to move YOU and discovering what unfolds when you move authentically.
It can be deeply therapeutic and cathartic, helping regulate the nervous system, release stuck energy, reconnect you to your body, and access joy, freedom, creativity, and expression.
And it's also SO much fun. 💃🕺✨
Expect:
🌲 Ecstatic dance beneath the trees
🔥 Cozy bonfire hangout after the dance
🧺 Bring-your-own picnic dinner & non-alcoholic beverages
🎨 Face & body painting for kids and adults
🎲 Games and activities for children
🌀 Flow toys available (feel free to bring your own)
🥁 Bring drums, instruments, and if you feel called - adorn some woodland-inspired attire! 🧚🏻♂️🦉🐿️🧌🍄

This event is open to all ages and kids under 16 come for free! Please note you are responsible for watching your kids!
⏰ FLOW OF THE EVENING (approximate & intuitive)
4-4:30: Arrival window -If you'd like face or body painting, please arrive closer to 4:00.
5:00 PM: Opening Circle - Please arrive before this time.
5:30–7:00 PM: Ecstatic Dance Journey
7:00–8:30 PM: Picnic, bonfire & community hangout
*Please note that timings are approximate and may gently shift with the flow of the evening. However, the opening circle will begin at 5 PM, and all participants are requested to arrive before then so we can begin together, go over the agreements of ecstatic dance, and create a safe and intentional container as a group. 💗
🌦 RAIN OR SHINE
If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply move the experience indoors.
🚗 PARKING
Limited parking is available in the driveway and someone will help direct parking when possible. If no one is there when you arrive, additional parking is available along the road and side streets nearby.
Carpooling is highly encouraged. 💗
🧺 PICNIC DETAILS
Please bring:
• Your own picnic food (there is space to store your cooler)
• Your own non-alcoholic beverages
• Your own utensils/plates/cups
• A blanket or picnic setup
• Bug spray
• Anything you bring, please take home with you - leave no trace 🌿
• Optional: a snack or treat to share with the group
This is an alcohol-free event.
Water refills will be provided, and there is an indoor bathroom available for everyone to use.
