WHAT INSPIRED THIS WORKSHOP .
During lockdown, I was struggling to be creative at home , so while walking my dog in the woods, I saw the natural canvas that mother nature had laid out on the forest floor. I had also been studying Buddhist meditation and had previously watched a video of Buddhist monks creating sand drawings , where they spend a long time creating beautiful patterns ,once finished they just blow the sand away to highlight the impermanence . The main part of my creative blockage was what I created felt like it had to be so perfect , so the Buddhist idea and the forest floor merged together with the idea of creating designs in the forest with no plan or pre conceived idea .While in the woods we will create then walk away leaving our designs to just be in the forest , where humans or animal can discover.
ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY
As the woodland setting inspires and fills you full of magical ideas - just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore new ways of caring for yourself. Don't miss this opportunity to unwind and recharge in the great outdoors
