About this Event
In this session we'll experience classical pranayama (breath work) practices, using simple, classic yogic breathing techniques to support regulation, awareness, and steadiness. Movement will be included in a minimal and supportive way—primarily to help the body settle and prepare for breathing and meditation.
What to expect 🌱:
- Gentle movement to support comfort and breathing
- Accessible pranayama (breath work) practices focused on ease and regulation
- Short reflections from yoga philosophy offered as further context to support the practice.
- Guided meditation
- Journaling for personal reflection (Journaling is included as a simple way to mark experience. Writing can be brief, fragmentary, or entirely internal)
No previous experience with pranayama, meditation, or yoga is required.
Please bring 🌿:
- A journal and pen (or any preferred writing materials)
- Layers or props that support comfort and warmth
- Yoga mat (if you have one)
The practice is rooted in presence; allowing it to meet you exactly where you are at.
Safe LGBTQIA+ and friendly space.🏳️🌈
