NL De meertalige samenleving bestaat niet naast het Nederlands, maar voedt het Nederlands met nieuwe verhalen, woorden en klanken. Meertalig Nederlands ontsprong aan verlangens om taal te maken op maat van migratie-ervaringen. Gaandeweg hebben ook reflecties over gender en handicap het Nederlands verrijkt. Tijdens deze editie van Wonders of Multilingualism nemen Mira Bryssinck, Tessa Leuwsha, Lisette Ma Neza en Hari Prasad Sacré het publiek mee langs de academische bronnen en artistieke stromen van het Meertalig Nederlands. In twee avonden reist het programma van Brussel tot Suriname, op zoek naar het Nederlands van morgen. Dit programma wordt gecureerd door Hari Prasad Sacré.
FR La société multilingue n’existe pas parallèlement au néerlandais, mais alimente celui-ci de nouvelles histoires, de nouveaux mots et de nouvelles sonorités. Le néerlandais multilingue est né du désir de créer une langue adaptée aux expériences migratoires. Peu à peu, les réflexions sur le genre et le handicap ont également enrichi le néerlandais. Lors de cette édition de Wonders of Multilingualism, Mira Bryssinck, Tessa Leuwsha, Lisette Ma Neza et Hari Prasad Sacré emmènent le public à la découverte des sources académiques et des courants artistiques du néerlandais multilingue. En deux soirées, l'émission voyage de Bruxelles au Suriname, à la recherche du néerlandais de demain.

EN The multilingual society does not exist alongside Dutch; rather, it enriches Dutch with new stories, words, and sounds. Multilingual Dutch emerged from a desire to create a language tailored to the experiences of migration. Gradually, reflections on gender and disability have also enriched Dutch. During this edition of Wonders of Multilingualism, Mira Bryssinck, Tessa Leuwsha, Lisette Ma Neza and Hari Prasad Sacré will take the audience on a journey through the academic sources and artistic currents of Multilingual Dutch. Over the course of two evenings, the programme travels from Brussels to Suriname in search of the Dutch language of tomorrow.
